The flood, which swept through Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and up to Dhading’s Dhundes area, destroyed homes and structures, displacing many families and causing some to lose relatives. Families taking refuge in safe locations after the disaster are facing urgent needs for food, shelter, and other basic necessities.
Dhading – Actress Eliza Gautam has extended relief to people impacted by the floods that affected Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading’s Dhundes area. Gautam distributed food to flood victims sheltering at Dhading Campus in Galkhi Rural Municipality-3. Many citizens who lost their homes to the flooding are currently residing in temporary shelters where Gautam provided meals. The flood caused significant damage across various parts of the region.

Those affected, who have taken refuge in safe locations, still require substantial assistance in terms of food, shelter, and other essential needs. Recognizing this situation, Gautam visited the site to personally distribute meals to the victims.
Meeting directly with the victims, Gautam sought to understand their circumstances. Emphasizing the importance of supporting those affected during times of disaster, she prioritized humanitarian aid. This support aims to address immediate needs and boost morale for families who have lost homes, property, and loved ones. A complete assessment of the flood damage and greater assistance for rehabilitation is still required.
