September 2, Salyan – MM Academy Pvt. Ltd., located in Sharda Municipality-3 of Salyan district, has successfully raised NPR 128,805 to support flood victims. The school mobilized funds through institutional contributions as well as donations from its teachers, staff, students, and the Sahutol market community.
The collected amount includes NPR 33,820 from MM Academy Pvt. Ltd., NPR 38,005 from teachers and staff, NPR 29,015 from students, and NPR 27,965 from the Sahutol market area. Mahesh Devkota, the director of the school, stated that the fundraising was carried out in collaboration with the school community and local market sectors to assist those affected by the floods.
Devkota emphasized that extending support to victims during times of disaster is a social responsibility, and they have contributed as much as possible. He also confirmed that the total sum of NPR 128,805 will be deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
