Nepal Secures Second Consecutive Victory in ACC Premier Cup

According to reports, Nepal achieved their second consecutive victory in the ACC Premier Cup by defeating Malaysia by 6 wickets, thanks to Karun K.C.’s 4 wickets. Nepal chased down the target of 104 runs in 21.4 overs with the loss of 4 wickets, with Arjun Kamal scoring an unbeaten 45 runs. Nepal had earlier beaten Bahrain in their opening match and will face Saudi Arabia on Sunday. The match took place on 18 Bhadra in Kathmandu.

Karun K.C.’s exceptional bowling and Arjun Kamal’s strong batting performance helped Nepal secure their second straight win in the ongoing ACC Premier Cup in Malaysia. In Thursday’s match, Nepal overcame Malaysia by 6 wickets. Nepal successfully chased the target of 104 runs in 21.4 overs, losing 4 wickets. Arjun Kamal was unbeaten on 45 runs, while Ishan Pande contributed 20 runs, and Dipendra Singh Aire remained not out with 12 runs.

Batting first, Malaysia was all out for 103 runs in 32.3 overs. Malaysia’s captain Syed Aziz led the scoring with 30 runs, followed by Akil Wahid who made 24 runs. Virandeep Singh scored 14, and Muhammad Syahdat Ramli added 13 runs. Other batsmen were unable to reach double figures. For Nepal, Karun K.C. took 4 wickets for 23 runs in 7.3 overs. Lalit Rajbanshi claimed 2 wickets, while Hemant Dhami, Sandeep Lamichhane, and Dipendra Singh Aire took 1 wicket each. Nepal had won their opening game against Bahrain and are scheduled to compete against Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
