Amputee football players Alina Shrestha and Pooja Bik are set to depart for France on Thursday to participate in the international women’s amputee football camp scheduled from September 3 to 6 in Nice. Ramcharitra Mehta, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, bid them farewell on Wednesday.
Dillibahadur Bisht, General Secretary of the Amputee Sports Society Nepal, stated that the main goal of the camp is to foster collaboration and expand networking among women amputee football players. The camp is organized by the European Amputee Football Federation (EAFF) with support from the World Amputee Football Federation (WAFF).
