
Table tennis players Yonggi Paudel and Ivana Thapa have departed for Bangkok, Thailand, as part of their preparations for the upcoming 20th Asian Games to be held in Japan. They will undergo specialized training at Thonburi University in Bangkok from September 4 to 15.
According to Jackie Maharjan, Treasurer of the All Nepal Table Tennis Association, this training will play a significant role in enhancing the athletes’ preparation, skill level, and competitive performance for the Asian Games. Sikka Suwal Shrestha, Executive Member of the National Sports Council, along with Treasurer Maharjan, saw them off at Tribhuvan International Airport.
