
A look back at the past year from the perspective of those injured in the Gen Z movement. On September 8 last year, marked as the Day of Rebellion for the new generation, thousands of young people across the country peacefully took to the streets demanding an end to corruption, misgovernance, and nepotism. They called for the elimination of social injustice and hoped for a safer future in the country. However, due to intense clashes, many lost their lives and numerous others were injured.
Shantanu Dhakal from Morang was also wounded by a gunshot in Itahari during the Gen Z movement.
