
Nepal is set to compete against Oman, the runner-up of Group ‘B’, in the semifinals of the ACC Premier Cup. Despite losing their final group stage match on Tuesday against Hong Kong, Nepal maintained their top position as the winner of Group ‘A’. Hong Kong, the group runner-up, will face the Group ‘B’ winner, UAE, in the other semifinal.
Kathmandu, 8 September – Nepal will square off against Oman in the ACC Premier Cup semifinal. The match will feature Nepal, who topped Group ‘A’, against Oman, the runner-up of Group ‘B’. Although Nepal suffered a defeat to Hong Kong in the last group match on Tuesday, they retained their position as group winners. Meanwhile, Hong Kong, as the group runner-up, will compete against the Group ‘B’ winner UAE in the semifinals.
The team that wins this competition will qualify for the ACC Asia Cup.
