24 Bhadra, Kathmandu – Former Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has announced plans to embark on a nationwide tour. He made this declaration while addressing a symposium organized by Congress Bhaktapur on Wednesday, commemorating the 133rd BP Jayanti.
“I will soon travel across all districts, villages, and areas to bring back those who have been misled to our side,” Deuba said during the event.
The former president also expressed full confidence that the Supreme Court will grant him justice. “I assure everyone present here that I will travel throughout the country to stand again with the people. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you, and I am confident that justice will prevail in the Supreme Court,” he clarified.
Reflecting on the warm welcome he received upon returning from medical treatment abroad, Deuba noted that this affection was shared by all dedicated Nepali Congress workers, not just himself.
“The love I experienced when returning to Kathmandu belongs to all our comrades,” he said. “This affection is what the true workers of the Nepali Congress have received.” He emphasized the importance of collectively regarding the affection from the people as a personal blessing and moving forward together.
“We all must consider the love given by the people as our own and proceed accordingly,” he urged. Additionally, Deuba expressed sorrow over the damage to lives and property caused by the recent flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa on 10 Bhadra.
