A security researcher affiliated with Anthropic, a leading company in the AI sector, has warned that there is more than a 10 percent risk that AI could “annihilate all humans” within the next decade. Researcher Evan Hubinger acknowledged that while current models pose lower risks, the rapid advancement of the technology could threaten the very existence of humanity.
