Hundreds of drones formed the silhouette of the Twin Towers in the New York City sky. This special event was organized in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks that took place in the United States on September 11, 2001.
Under the artwork titled ‘2,977 Lights Over New York Harbor,’ artists collaborated with families of the deceased and survivors. According to the organizers, each light in the Twin Tower formation represents one of the 2,977 individuals who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.
