The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has postponed the memorandum submission, dharna, and press conference scheduled to be held today at 11 AM at Rastriya Adhakari Prashikshan Kendra (RAKEP) until further notice. ANFA announced on Monday that the event has been deferred due to special reasons.
Since FIFA suspended ANFA on Ashad 10 (June 24) citing third-party interference, Nepalese football has been severely affected. To draw the government’s attention for lifting the suspension, ANFA had planned to submit a memorandum at RAKEP, stage a one-hour dharna involving staff, referees, and coaches, followed by a press conference. FIFA imposed the suspension due to alleged third-party interference in ANFA affairs.
