Left-handed batting all-rounder Charith Asalanka from Sri Lanka has become part of Biratnagar Kings’ squad for the upcoming third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The Biratnagar Kings confirmed the Sri Lankan star as their foreign player on their social media platforms. Asalanka is skilled with left-handed batting and right-arm off-break bowling. The 29-year-old has so far appeared in 77 T20 internationals for Sri Lanka, amassing 1,466 runs along with 7 wickets.
His overall T20 career is even more impressive. Asalanka has played 185 T20 matches, scoring 3,715 runs and taking 37 wickets. He has also featured in prestigious franchise tournaments such as the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Lanka Premier League (LPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL), and the International League T20 in the UAE. “My goal is to deliver excellent cricketing performances with Biratnagar Kings, utilize my experience and skills for the team, and create memorable moments for the fans.
