Chandra Bahadur and Manmati to Carry Nepal’s Flag at 20th Asian Games Opening Ceremony

At the opening ceremony’s march pass of the 20th Asian Games currently underway in Japan, Nepal’s national flag will be carried by Chandra Bahadur Thapa and Manmati Bist. The National Sports Council shared this information via social media.

Chandra Bahadur is a bronze medalist from the AIBA Men’s World Boxing Championships held in Dubai, while Manmati captained Nepal’s women’s kabaddi team at the 19th Asian Games. Kathmandu, 2 Ashoj.

During the march pass at the opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games in Japan, the national flag of Nepal will be borne by boxer Chandra Bahadur Thapa and kabaddi player Manmati Bist. The National Sports Council (Rakhap) announced on social media that these two athletes will represent Nepal by carrying the flag.

Chandra Bahadur achieved a historic bronze medal at the AIBA World Men’s Boxing Championships in Dubai, while Manmati was the captain when the Nepal women’s kabaddi team won a historic bronze medal at the 19th Asian Games. The opening ceremony of the 20th Asian Games is scheduled for Saturday.
