Kamal and Georgia Exit Medal Contention in Soft Tennis Mixed Doubles at 20th Asian Games

At the 20th Asian Games, Nepal’s Kamal Bhandari and Georgia Chaudhary have been eliminated from medal contention in the soft tennis mixed doubles event. In the knockout stage held at the Higashiyama Park Tennis Center in Japan, they were defeated 5-1 by the Indonesian pair Fernando Sanger and Arasi City.

Having advanced to the knockout stage after winning one match and losing another in the group phase, Kamal and Georgia’s duo had earlier defeated players from Mongolia but lost to competitors from Chinese Taipei. Previously, the Nepalese team was also eliminated from the men’s doubles event. Kamal and Pradeep Khatri will compete in men’s singles, while Georgia will participate in the women’s singles event.
