Bangladesh’s Mysterious Spinner Mohammad Rubel Set to Participate in Nepal Premier League

Bangladesh’s enigmatic spinner Mohammad Rubel is set to participate in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The Bangladeshi sports news agency T–Sports has revealed information about Rubel joining the NPL. However, the franchise he will represent has not yet been disclosed.

Rubel has not yet had the opportunity to represent the Bangladesh national cricket team. Nevertheless, he has taken 14 wickets in 11 T20 matches. He was a key member of one of Bangladesh’s main teams during the Top and T20 series held in Australia.

Previously, T–Sports also reported that Bangladesh’s young batsman Ariful Islam would be participating in the NPL. Although there is talk on social media that Ariful will be playing for the Karnali Yaks franchise, formal approval is still pending.

Bangladesh’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has confirmed his participation with the Pokhara Avengers, while Akbar Ali is set to play for the Karnali Yaks.
