Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to hold discussions with the mediators involved in negotiations with the United States. According to Iran’s news agency ISNA, Foreign Minister Araghchi, along with the Iranian delegation, will meet with the mediator team engaged in talks with the US today. The Qatari delegation is currently in the United States. Last week, they submitted Iran’s proposal for economic relief instead of reopening the Strait of Hormuz to US officials.
The mediator team and the Iranian delegation will discuss “recent proposals and the current situation,” ISNA reported. According to another Iranian news agency, Tasnim, there are no plans for direct talks between Iran and the United States.
