SpaceX’s rocket exploded and caught fire upon splashing into the ocean. The ‘Starship,’ launched into space carrying Starlink satellites, returned to Earth shortly after and crashed into the Pacific Ocean. The cause of the explosion upon water impact has not yet been determined.
The vehicle was carrying 26 advanced ‘V3’ satellites, which are part of Starlink’s network established in space to provide broadband internet services on Earth. Although the mission was originally planned for ten hours, the decision was made to bring the spacecraft down after approximately three hours of orbiting Earth.
