Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the ongoing US-Israeli conflict. According to Fars News Agency, Pezeshkian expressed during the call that a peace agreement with the United States is achievable. “Iran is fully prepared to reach a balanced and fair agreement that ensures long-term peace and security in the region,” Pezeshkian stated. “Our red line is the national interests and rights of the Iranian people. If the US adheres to the international legal framework, reaching an agreement is not impossible.”
President Pezeshkian also emphasized Iran’s readiness to cooperate with neighboring countries to maintain regional peace and security, asserting that the presence or intervention of external powers is unnecessary. Meanwhile, according to Fars News, President Putin stressed the need for the United States and Israel to compensate for the damages caused by the conflict and underscored the necessity of providing Iran with long-term security guarantees to prevent such attacks from recurring in the future.
