
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that Iranian citizens do not fear any threats from enemies. Speaking at an international exhibition on the capacities of rural and nomadic communities held in Tehran, Pezeshkian emotionally stated that as long as the Iranian people live, he will serve as a proud servant of the heroic Iranian nation.
Despite escalating economic pressure from the United States, Tehran’s stance of refusing to agree to proposed conditions for ending the war remains unchanged. In last month’s new peace proposal, Iran demanded a regional ceasefire, the release of frozen Iranian assets, lifting of sanctions on Iranian oil exports, and the end of the U.S. naval blockade.
As an alternative measure, Iran had announced it would reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days. However, U.S. President Donald Trump rejected that offer.
