
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that talks between Iran and the United States are making progressive strides, with only a few critical issues remaining unresolved. Speaking at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey, he noted that the two countries are very close to reaching an agreement. Although some subjects still require consensus, efforts continue, and hope has not yet been lost. He expressed confidence that a successful deal would bring significant benefits to the world.
Dar emphasized that both parties are persistently working to resolve the outstanding differences. He claimed that a ceasefire in Lebanon has been achieved and that Iran has unconditionally reopened the Strait of Hormuz to shipping. Dar expressed optimism that the remaining negotiations would conclude soon. Additionally, the next phase of talks between the two countries is expected to commence shortly. The initial round of discussions took place in Islamabad, Pakistan.
