April 11, Kathmandu – The Australian cricket team for the upcoming T20 international series against Bangladesh has been announced, with Mitchell Marsh appointed as captain.

The squad marks the return of Aaron Hardie, who earned his place back after outstanding performances in the Pakistan Super League. Additionally, young cricketer Joel Davies has been included in the T20 squad for the first time, and fast bowler Spencer Johnson has also made a comeback.

However, experienced players Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis have been left out of the team. Both have already retired from One Day International cricket. Steve Smith is also excluded from the T20 squad.

Maxwell and Stoinis were last omitted from Australia’s central contract list, and their performances during the T20 World Cup were not impactful.
