
April 13, Kathmandu – A man who went into hiding after being sentenced to one year in prison for forging his own daughter’s Class 11 and 12 transcripts has been arrested. The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office of Nepal Police has taken into custody 61-year-old Ferdinand Valentine Fetz, also known as Krody French Kshetri, a resident of Lalitpur Metropolitan City–3.
He was accused of producing fake transcripts and related documents showing his daughter had passed Class 11 and 12. The Higher Secondary Education Examination Control Office had filed a complaint against him, prompting a police investigation. The Bhaktapur District Court sentenced him on April 16, 2025 (Baisakh 3, 2082 BS), to one year imprisonment and a fine of 50 rupees for forging official stamps and signatures, according to police sources.
After remaining on the run for nearly a year, he was apprehended Tuesday in the Tilganga area of Kathmandu, the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office confirmed.
