Android Launches ‘Gemini Intelligence,’ Ushering a New Era in Smartphone Usage

Android has introduced a new AI feature called ‘Gemini Intelligence’ that will transform smartphones into personalized assistants. Gemini will coordinate between apps to automate complex tasks, with the ‘Rambler’ feature crafting clear messages and smart browsing capabilities integrated within Chrome. This feature will debut on the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 series and will be rolled out to smartwatches, cars, glasses, and laptops by the end of the year.
Android has revealed its most advanced AI feature to date, named ‘Gemini Intelligence,’ which promises to revolutionize how users interact with their smartphones. Starting with Samsung’s Galaxy S26 and Google’s Pixel 10 series, this technology will upgrade users’ devices from mere gadgets to fully personalized assistants.
The standout capability of Gemini Intelligence is its interactive coordination across multiple apps. It efficiently completes multi-step tasks that users often find cumbersome. For example, Gemini can book a gym class based on voice commands or search Gmail for courses and automatically add required books to the shopping cart. If the user has a shopping list saved in the ‘Notes’ app, pressing the power button can prompt Gemini to order those items online for delivery.
The ‘Rambler’ feature listens to verbal input and extracts key points to generate optimal messages. It supports understanding multiple languages simultaneously. Even if the user speaks a mix of Nepali and English, Gemini grasps the context and converts it into clear text. Importantly, this system does not store the user’s voice but only performs real-time transcription.
