Motorcycle Accident in Dolpa: Injured Rescued by Helicopter

Two individuals were injured in a motorcycle accident on Monday night in Thuli Bheri Municipality-6, Dolpa district. The seriously injured Sajan Bik was airlifted by a Nepalese Army helicopter and transported to Surkhet Medical College for further treatment. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Anilraj Giri, the other injured person, Gopal Nepali, is receiving treatment at the District Hospital in Dunai.

Sajan Bik, a 26-year-old man from Jumla, who operated a motorcycle garage in Dunai market, was rescued by helicopter. Deputy Superintendent of Police Anilraj Giri stated that the other injured individual, 28-year-old Gopal Nepali from Ralli village, Tripurasundari-1, is currently undergoing treatment at Dunai District Hospital.

The accident occurred around 8:30 pm on Monday when the motorcycle with registration number Ba 54 Pa 6686, traveling from the headquarters Dunai towards Tripurakot, lost control and fell about 50 meters off the road.
