Extreme Energy Drinks Becomes Title Sponsor for Six Franchises in Nepal Premier League


June 6, Kathmandu – For the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament, Extreme Energy Drinks has signed title sponsorship agreements with six franchise teams simultaneously, marking one of the largest private sector partnerships in the history of Nepali sports.

Produced by Agro Thai Foods Pvt. Ltd., Extreme Energy Drinks has secured three-year title sponsorship deals with Kathmandu Gorkhaz, Chitwan Rhinos, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Pokhara Avengers, and Lumbini Lions.

In a special event held on Monday, representatives from the six franchises and Sonia Rana, Business Head of Agro Thai Foods Pvt. Ltd., signed the agreements.

Under the terms of the agreement, Extreme Energy Drinks will serve as the primary sponsor for these six teams for the next three years. The brand’s logo will occupy the prime position on the front of the playing jerseys of the respective teams.

Through this partnership, the company aims to strengthen its brand association with Nepal’s largest franchise cricket tournament, while contributing to the commercial development of Nepali cricket.

Krishna Dahal, National Sales Manager of Agro Thai Foods Pvt. Ltd., expressed pride in collaborating with six NPL teams as title sponsor.

“The Nepal Premier League is the biggest and most prestigious competition in Nepali cricket. Partnering with these six teams as title sponsor is a matter of pride for us. This partnership is not only to promote our brand but is also intended to contribute to the long-term development of Nepali cricket,” Dahal stated.

Extreme Energy Drinks has been continuously investing in Nepali sports over recent years. The company is the principal sponsor of the Nepali women’s national cricket team and has been involved with various national and international sports including cricket, football, volleyball, and marathon events.

This agreement, reached ahead of the third edition of the NPL scheduled after Dashain, further reinforces growing private sector investment and confidence in Nepali sports. The company has also committed to ongoing support for the development of Nepali sports, athletes’ capacity building, and the expansion of sports culture in the country.
