Phnom Penh Crown FC Wins Cambodian Women’s League Title Under Rekha Paudel’s Leadership

Phnom Penh Crown Women’s FC, featuring Rekha Paudel, has secured the Cambodian Women’s League championship. In the final match held on September 27 at the Olympic Stadium, Crown decisively defeated Visakha FC with a 3-0 scoreline. Rekha played a crucial role throughout Crown’s title-winning campaign. Upon winning the championship, she expressed pride in representing the Phnom Penh Crown women’s team and regarded the season’s hard work, improvement, and experience as significant achievements.

The league featured eight teams, with Crown finishing at the top of the league stage to secure their place in the semifinals. In the semifinals, Preeti Rai’s Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC was defeated by Crown in a penalty shootout, 3–2. Rekha is known for scoring in her debut match for the club. With this triumph, the club has now won the women’s league title for the fourth consecutive time. Previously, Rekha also played for Abu Dhabi Country Club in the UAE, where she won the UAE Women’s League First Division title.
