Top End Cricket Raises $4,269 for Flood-Affected Children in Nepal

October 7, Kathmandu – The Top End T20 series held in Australia has successfully raised $4,269 USD to support children affected by recent flooding in Nepal. The collected funds from the series will be handed over to UNICEF Australia. These resources are designated to aid children impacted by the sudden floods in Nepal, providing essential life-saving health services, nutrition, and access to safe drinking water through UNICEF Australia.

The organizers expressed gratitude to the Nepalese community supporting the fundraising campaign, the ambassadors of Study NT who helped run the initiative, and all those who purchased tickets, participated in the program, or directly contributed. The Nepal A cricket team took part in the Top End T20 series in Australia. During the tournament, devastating floods struck districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading in Nepal. Cricket Australia demonstrated solidarity with Nepalese citizens affected by the floods, while UNICEF appealed for support for Nepal’s emergency relief efforts.
