October 9, Kathmandu – Australian all-rounder Will Bosisto is set to represent Kathmandu Gorkhas in the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
On Friday, Kathmandu announced Bosisto’s signing through their social media platforms. Previously, Bosisto had played for Karnali Yaks in the first two editions.
This season, alongside Australian star David Warner, Bosisto has been signed by Kathmandu. The team has also contracted Sri Lankan player Sahan Arachige and Indian/UAE cricketer KS Bharat.
The 33-year-old Bosisto brings experience across First-class, List A, and T20 formats. He captained the Australia Under-19 team at the 2012 World Cup, where despite losing the final to India, he was named the tournament’s outstanding player.
In First-class cricket, Bosisto has played 28 matches, scoring over 1,100 runs and taking 17 wickets with off-break bowling.
In the T20 format, he has appeared in 21 matches, scoring 400 runs and taking 3 wickets.
