Oman A Team All Out for 160 Runs Against Nepal in Practice Match

21 Ashoj, Kathmandu – As part of the preparations for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series, the Nepalese cricket team, currently in Oman, has set a target of 161 runs in their first practice match against the Oman A team. Batting first after losing the toss at Oman Cricket Academy Turf 2, Oman A team was bowled out for 160 runs in 39.5 overs. Captain Hammad Mirza top-scored with 54 runs, followed by Zakria Islam with 35 and Sanju Sajiv with 34 runs.

Nepalese bowler Nandan Yadav took 3 wickets conceding just 17 runs in 5 overs. Karan KC and Sandeep Lamichhane claimed 2 wickets each, while Gulshan Jha, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Shahab Alam took 1 wicket apiece. Starting next week, the ODI series of League 2 will commence in Oman between Nepal, Oman, and Canada.
